SnapCab Workspace Products are Safe

In response to recent news regarding unsafe levels of formaldehyde in a certain pod manufacturer’s product, we want to assure you that SnapCab Workspace products are safe to use. We’ve been in business since 1995 making safety tested architectural paneling products.

There’s a difference between compliance and actual certification. We at SnapCab have pursued actual accredited certification and listing versus simply stating compliance.

SnapCab Workspace products are UL Listed and labeled. Our UL Listed products – under our legal business name Bostock Co Inc. DBA SnapCab – display the safety standard we meet (UL 962 Standard for Safety for Household and Commercial Furnishings).

Additionally, our products are seismic certified, and all materials used are certified under CARB Phase 2 requirements.

Finally, SnapCab conducts third-party testing to validate the air quality for the users of our products. The air quality testing performed includes testing for Formaldehyde and VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) levels through an AIHA accredited laboratory.

Our most recent testing results conducted in 2019, indicate Formaldehyde and VOC levels present are 18 and 45 times below the maximum 8-hour exposure limit guidelines provided in OSHA and the California Department of Public Health, respectively.
