It features a height-adjustable desk, complete with concealed cord management for a tidy workspace. With its soft perimeter and face lighting, switch-switch glass panels on both the front and back, and an extensive range of customization possibilities, this pod is meticulously tailored to meet the ever-evolving demands of the modern world.
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our 2nd Annual ‘Space To Be You’ Reveal Event, marking an exciting beginning to this year’s NeoCon. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who participated in the event, as we celebrated the remarkable “Biophilic Portal” winning pod design and had the privilege of hearing directly from the talented designer, Shiri Shubbar. We invite you to take a glimpse at the exceptional creations!
Described as “an ethereal, biophilic design where serenity meets imagination,” Shubbar’s nature-infused design transforms a basic pod to one of a tranquil haven cultivating curiosity. Deploying a geometric dimensionality in a hex pattern, acoustic panels add visual interest and distinctive acoustic privacy. A refuge from the outer world where one can unwind, The Biophilic Portal features subdued neutral tones that blend together to create a neuro-sensitive environment without sacrificing the vividness of nature, as a moss green wall brings the space to life without the need for regular care. Outfitted with a comfortable chair and footstool, the biophilic pod is designed to connect occupants with nature within an acoustically isolated pod to provide respite from the often noisy workplace environment.
NeoCon’s podcast studio, situated in the lively North Lobby of theMart, hummed with energy as it became a hub for creativity. Powered by Sandow’s Surround podcast network and proudly sponsored by SnapCab, this dynamic space attracted renowned architect and design giants. Notable participants included design personality Amy Devers, host of the Clever podcast, Josh Rubin, the visionary founder of Cool Hunting, and Cheryl Durst, the accomplished Executive Vice President and CEO of IIDA. It was an unforgettable experience at the forefront of innovation and thought leadership.
