STC & NIC Performance
STC (Sound Transmission Class) is a lab-tested rating for how much sound a barrier blocks. NIC (Noise Isolation Class) reflects real-world field performance once the pod is installed in your space. Standard performance starts at STC 35+.
Dual-Seal Door System
Two independent seal profiles around the door frame and door closure — one blocks direct sound transmission, one absorbs residual vibration. Wall panels use sound-isolating gasketing throughout.
Enhanced Acoustic Packages
For environments where standard performance isn't enough: government, legal, financial, healthcare, music and podcast recording, or broadcast. Available packages engineered to your specific requirements, up to STC 54.5+.

Engineered Aluminum Frame
Heavy-gauge extruded aluminum. Corrosion-resistant and dimensionally stable over decades. The reason we back the structure with a 10-year warranty.
Glass Front Options
Tempered glass is standard. Frosted and privacy glass options available when visual privacy is a priority alongside acoustic performance. Printed glass also available.
Door Configuration
Door swing direction (left or right) and door position (left side, right side, or centre) are all specifiable. Locking and latching hardware options available for environments that require controlled access.
Seating & Work Surfaces

Interchangeable Panel System
Four swappable panels per wall — both interior and exterior surfaces accept applied finishes up to 1/4 inch thick. Refresh individual panels without replacing the structure.
Glass Back & Floorless Configurations
All models can be configured with a glass back panel for a more open, integrated aesthetic, or specified as floorless to sit directly on your existing flooring without a transition threshold.

Door hinges are engineered for commercial longevity and rated to withstand over one million opens, built for the volume of a busy workplace without degrading over time.

One-Cord Connection
A single 120VAC cord connects the pod to any standard outlet — rated at 12A, 60Hz, single phase. No electrician required for standard installation. Hardwired electrical connection available for permanent installations.
Lighting
Standard indirect LED strip lighting at 3500K — neutral and comfortable for focused work and video. Dimmable as standard. In-wall face lighting available for video-optimized configurations.
Motion Sensor
Occupancy is detected automatically — lighting and ventilation activate on entry and shut off after vacancy. An override option keeps lights and fans running continuously when preferred.
Integrated Power
Every pod includes two 120VAC outlets and USB charging ports, all routed through a single connection point. Circuit protection is built in and resettable without facility management involvement.
Ventilation
Quiet fans at 22dB ventilate air out through the top of the pod. Full air exchange every 3 to 5 minutes. An occupancy fan provides additional user comfort during use.
Zero-Step Entry
Flush threshold eliminates trip hazards and allows wheelchair access. Available across all pod sizes.
Configurable Controls & Layout
Control placement, door width, and interior layout can be adjusted to meet specific accessibility or user requirements.
Accessibility Compliance
Available on larger models designed to accommodate required clearances. How does a pod compare to building a room?
A pod can be installed in hours versus weeks or months for construction. In most jurisdictions no permits are required, no trades need to be coordinated, and there is no disruption during installation. When the floor plan changes, the pod moves with it, typically at a fraction of the cost of a comparable constructed space.
How long does installation take?
Most pods are plug-and-play and can be installed within hours. Larger configurations or custom builds may require additional time.
Can pods be relocated?
Yes. Pods with high-load phenolic casters can be repositioned without disassembly. No hardwiring means you simply unplug and move. Larger sizes can be fully demounted and reassembled in a new location.
